Booze Fasting
The last time I indulge in a sea of alcohol was two days before the frigging new year of the rat. I gulped and gulped like I never drank water in years! As a result, I was totally knocked off with hangover the following morning.
And when the new year came, I was still down and depressed. I almost got tempted with wine but I prefered to be clean with alcohol to start the new year. Part of the new year resolution.
Nineteen days later, I found myself hanging out with friends in a pizza place. Of course, there were a couple of beer cans, enough to quench the thirst.
Last week, my colleague celebrated his birthday, but I had a date with some of my other friends - the reason I escaped after the dinner treat. They had a booze feast until three in the morning.
Until now, I am still dry with booze.
This is not me.
It’s hard to drink moderately. I am always either totally dry or go on benders it seems like. But I’m working on just having a couple drinks on occasion and I really like it.
It sounds like a pretty bad situation. I mean, no one wants to become an alcoholic–and I’m not saying that you are–but that’s how it starts. I’m of the opinion that one can learn to drink moderately. You just really have to try. I don’t think it’s any harder than trying to quit completely.

You poor thing. But you know what, I think that we’re victims of the time. Noone preaches moderation any more – it’s either all out or abstinence. You just need to find your happy medium

Why don’t you try and drink a bit, in moderation, so that when you do eventually drink it then you won’t have loads 
I haven’t drunk alcohol in a year but haven’t drank since then, isn’t a problem for me though because I never get into the situation when I can drink it

Oy! i once said i’m not drinking for a year after one drinkin incident… but of course, i was boozing just a few days after… but not now, i wasn’t even near any beer for like a month. i have an inspiration who keeps telling me i should shun alcohol forever. you just have to have the right tool…
